"Many issues made visit lackluster."
Overall Score2.0/ 5
The exterior of the hotel was exceptionally nice. The beds and layout of the rooms were great. Issues arose with the shower in one room (would vibrate violently when hot water was in use), the knob for the sink in the second room (it fell off when being used), the WiFi was sketchy (poor reception [1 two bars] and worked for five minute intervals in the lobby area), the other patrons were very noisy during what would be considered curfew/quiet hours (children running and screaming and people loudly arguing outside our room), though it was a non smoking room the smoking area, located at the bottom of the stairs, was immediately under our room (they were outside entrances), the rooms had been recently remodeled, however, a horrible job was done (paint was slapped on rather than carefully applied, especially in the restroom; no outlet cover was on the one outlet between the beds; the cord for one lamp between the beds had been spliced together with an extension cord and wires were still exposed). The pool was nice but very crowded with young children, etc. It was also very warm and the chlorine levels were extremely high. I would have been more disappointed had I paid full price rather than the discounted price I was able to find. It satisfied our sleeping needs, but the lack of little extras was very disappointing.
