Five Stars
This Inn was a decent price but it has its drawbacks. It was clean but the walls are so thin and our neighbor kept the TV on all night. The owners should invest in a renovation and up the price!

An older but clean and well maintained hotel out of sight but very near downtown. Good value.
The bathroom was very small. As a result, there is not enough space to have safety hand bars, which I need. The shower door opens up into the towel rack which makes accessing the shower difficult. The shower itself was so small that I had to climb over the shower chair to get inside. Once inside and seated the shower was doable but, getting inside could be dangerous. The bathroom doorway was too narrow to accommodate my walker (I ended up leaving it outside the door when I needed to use the bathroom) Also, the balcony door was too narrow to accommodate my walker, so I left it in the room when I went outside to enjoy the sounds of the river flowing by. The staff were wonderful! And very accommodating. We enjoyed the river flowing outside our balcony.
For an older hotel it is very nice with a few updates. It was very clean and cozy. Especially liked the balcony overlooking the river.

It was a pleasant stay. Could use a little updating but fine. Nothing negative to report.
You could call the front desk. They were there in five minutes with towels, washcloths coffee whatever you need my husband wheelchair broke maintenance even fixed it for me thank You Gatlinburg River Inn. You’ll never stay at a pleasant Place like that. Everything was wonderful hot tub rooms. Everything very clean.
